- STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S MOD
- STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S PATCH
- STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S CODE
I don't know if it's because of the patch in itself or because it's such an old game running on Windows 10. I see some difference with starcraft lately to be honest.
STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S INSTALL
You can patch StarCraft 1.15.3 to 1.16.1 with 3 ways: Just loggin on server and wait for Autoupdate (twice) Install Starcraft_1.16.1_Patcher into your StarCraft. I had to toy around with the settings to get it playing more like 1.16. Other I enjoyed Starcraft more with 1.16.1 patch than on 1.18 (self.starcraft).
STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S MOD
I didn't make the original mod nor I take any credit for it. What he did with them was. It's basically the same original mod but compatible with starcraft:brood war version 1.16.1. don't decry a fantasy game or book for being "Tolkienesque" for having Elves, Dwarves, and the rest. You see, Tolkien's world was novel in that it was one of the first to have a completely detailed world, with an amazing history unheard of in his day. Games Workshop (Of Warhammer fame) steals shamelessly from Tolkien for physical descriptions and habits, but adds originalty for personality. However, only a very few game makers have taken this depiction - TSR's depiction of Elves has them SMALLER than humans, which is more in step with traditional folklore.

His depiction of Elves as tall and willowy wasn't totally new, but was not "in step" with the common conceptions of the day. His depiction of Orcs includes a few novel details (Wolf-riding, which is borrowed heavily from). His depiction of Trolls is sparse, and the bit about turning to stone in the sun was NOT new. Tolkien's depiction of Dwarves is taken directly from folklore. I above all else agree with everyone about the "recycling" of science fiction throughout the years. Zerg to draw many similarities, but where in the zerg description (I never had the codex) is a hive mind described. Where in 40k do eldar have force shields, and where in SC do protoss have the monofilament web casters? To many differences to be a rip off Protoss in SC may have th powers, but in no way do they look like or as far as I can see draw parallels with elves. so it is safe to assume that is why eldar are pyschic. It is very frequently said "elves are a magical race" blah blah. instead of magic in the 40k universe, pyschic powers are used. In 40k, marines have rapid healing, can spit acid, and can hibernate) Marines in SC are influenced by psychological development, not gene enhancement (exp. Marines in 40k owe their strength to genetic alterations made by the emprorer when he made the primarchs. Humans in starcraft are a rim society SEPARATED from the main human civ. I do agree that Starcraft draws from 40k, but in no way is it a blatant ripoff. Go check out the link I provided and look at some pictures of the Space Marines, Eldar, and Tyranids.you will see that Starcraft is a blow by blow copy.I remember reading an interview where one of the Blizzard designers even admitted the inspiration for the races was Warhammer 40,000.need to dig out the article. Space Marines = Marines.the Marines from Aliens don't wear large armored suits like knights.
STARCRAFT 1 16 1 RIP S CODE
In Warhammer, the Eldar are a race of psychic beings who rely on energy weapons, have a strong code of honor, and wear suits of armor that are elegant and finitely where the inspiration for the Protoss came from.nothing like the alien from Predator. In Warhammer, the Tyranids are a biomechanical race that enslaves and incorporates other races into their genetic code to develop weapons and new species.the Tyranids take over entire planets to feed the oneness of the Hive.which is exactly what the Zerg do.don't remember that happening in Alien or Starship Troopers.
